LatestNeuer, Thomas Müller and Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting were among the players left at home for Bayern's recent tour of Asia, which they concluded with a 4-3 win over Jürgen Klopp's Liverpool on Wednesday. Neuer broke his leg in a skiing accident last winter, and although there is hope he will return early in the season, Yann Sommer and Sven Ulreich will be tasked with keeping goal for now. With the Supercup against RB Leipzig looming, Thomas Tuchel is likely to start with something approaching his best possible XI, with new arrival Kim Min-jae and Matthijs de Ligt expected to be given a run-out at centre-back.
